The Survivors Cookbook
Support domestic violence victims by buying The Survivors’ Cookbook for friends and family.
Food can be one of life’s biggest comforts – it can make you feel safe. The simple act of eating as a family in your own home can be difficult, more so when you are a victim of domestic violence. The Survivors’ Cookbook combines a wide range of easy-to-prepare recipes, from both survivors and those who work to support them and make their lives safe. Gordon Ramsay and Jo Brand, 'Friends' of Women’s Aid and Standing Together, have also contributed their favourite recipes.
A suggested donation of £5 is proposed for the Cookbook (with £1 for postage and packaging for each cookbook) with all proceeds supporting the work of Women’s Aid and Standing Together Against Domestic Violence. To order The Survivors’ Cookbook, email cookbook@standingtogether.org.uk with your name, delivery address, phone number and the number of copies that you wish to order.
Donations for the cookbook can be made by cheque, debit or credit card. If paying by debit/credit card, we will send you an online invoice from Paypal (you will not need an account for this service). Once you have paid, we will send you the cookbook. For all cheque donations, please make payable to: Standing Together Against Domestic Violence, and send to: Room 44D, 4th Floor, The Polish Centre, 238-246 King St, London W6 0RF.

What others have said about volunteering with us:
"My time at Standing Together has been a fascinating way to learn more about domestic abuse, it’s left me raring-to-go and I am now thinking through about what I can do to help in Cheltenham. It has been incredible meeting such hard-working and passionate people and I cannot thank you enough for having me here. My week at Standing Together has opened my eyes towards domestic abuse and I would love to return to help you all again, but more than that I want to help change these statistics" - Georgia Terry, Volunteer July 2011

Standing Together Funding History
‘I am tremendously proud of the achievements of the coordinated approach to domestic violence pioneered by Standing Together. The project has prioritised both victims’ safety and bringing perpetrators to justice. In this way it has turned the government’s intention of putting victims at the heart of the Criminal Justice System into a reality’
