On 24th April Councillor Lisa Homan ran the London Marathon to raise money for Standing Together. Not only did finish without any blisters, she also wildly exceeded her fundraising target!

We are thrilled to announce that HM Treasury has awarded Standing Together £311,000 to continue and progress our work with health trusts to idenitfy and respond to domestic abuse. The funding enables us to continue our local partnership work with mental health services and to build a national health alliance to support a network of operational experts to embed best practice into acute and mental health trusts.
On 4th February 2016, history was made in the Hammersmith Specialist Domestic Abuse Court (SDAC) when the first European Protection Order (EPO) was imposed in England & Wales. In simple terms, the granting of an EPO means that bail conditions or conditions of a restraining order can travel with the victim, affording them protection in a specified EU member state. In this case the victim had returned to Sweden. A restraining order was granted as well as an EPO so that she is protected in the UK and well as in Sweden.
