Board of Trustee (Volunteer)

Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse is committed to ending domestic abuse by transforming the way organisations and individuals think about, prevent and respond to it.  We do this through a ground breaking partnership approach that we pioneered in the UK, called the Coordinated Community Response (CCR).

We are seeking volunteer Trustees to join our experienced Board to oversee Standing Together’s governance, compliance and planning, and to enable the charity to continue to grow in line with our strategy so we can help more women and girls live free from abuse and violence.

Domestic abuse is a complex social problem that impacts people, communities and services across our society, spanning health, housing, social care, the Criminal Justice System (CJS) and beyond. Since the pandemic domestic abuse has worsened leading to an increase in frontline and support services. The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a much-needed light on the prevalence of domestic abuse and the need for more effective support and response. We believe that an effective CCR is the only way we can address these worrying trends in alleviating domestic abuse.
